Every two years the University of Michigan Solar Car Team designs and builds a vehicle to compete in the American Solar Challenge and the World Solar Challenge. These two events are road races that encompass thousands of miles of public roads across the United States, Canada, and Australia.

Witco installs automated tool and gauge management system for Lean Manufacturing
Our AutoCrib carousel system was installed to replace our manned tool and gauge cribs. Each unit provides secure access to over 2000 different SKUs in less than 10 seconds - with 100% accountability
Witco adds coordinate measuring machine, a PRISMO Navigator with an integrated rotary table
Used to measure components with micrometer accuracy. It features extremely narrow tolerances needed to meet high safety standards such as those placed on aircraft engines.
